William Bell

Our friends at TV.com are hosting the Now Awards with Leonard Nimoy’s William Bell up for Best Performance of a Non-Human Character. I know what you’re thinking, Bellie was as human as the day is long. Unless, they know something that we don’t…

(I guess his atoms were unstable. Still human in my eyes though).

Anyway, Bell may have been a dubious character but I kinda dug his “seventy-seven” and Twizzler munching. Sorry Queen Anna, I’ll vote for you and V tomorrow, honest.

Head on over to the TV.com Now Awards page to vote up Bellie. You can also submit your own category and nominees (under the News & Updates tab) until June 11th.

Update: You can also vote for Olivia and Peter in the Coolest Crime-Solving Duo category.

Coolness: Fringe Toons – The Antagonists

by Roco on February 10, 2010 · 1 comment

You may remember the Fringe cartoon drawings from the last time we featured them on FB. Since then, Toon Series have updated their roster to include a few of the show’s more antagonistic characters: Nina Sharp, David Jones and William Bell. Personally, I enjoy looking out for the little quirks in their depictions, such as Jones’ severed arm and Bell’s notepad and pen. Have a closer look at the new Fringe toons after the jump.

Daily Poll: UnBELLievable?

by Roco on October 13, 2009 · 5 comments

Cortexiphan? Um, nope, doesn't ring a bell..

It may have taken a lifetime, but Olivia finally got the chance to meet her maker in what was one of the stand-out scenes of a momentus episode of Fringe.

William, or Willum, presented himself as the great protector, the visionary who meant no harm. But as Olivia pointed out, he has caused a lot of damage to a lot of people.

So far, Olivia has followed Bell’s instructions, although her efforts in preventing the shapeshifters from finding the head of their leader ended in bitter failure.

But going forward, what do you think Olivia should do – should she trust William Bell and continue to follow his instructions? Should she kick him to the curb?  Or, should she do a bit of both, depending her mood-ometer? Feel free to let us know what you think by voting in the poll, and then keep track of the show to see if your prediction turns out to be the correct one.

Should Olivia TRUST William Bell?

TheWB As most of you know Fringe is back for an all-new season this Thursday on FOX. But for those of you who want to catch up and haven’t got the DVD’s, there’s still time to rewatch the season 1 episodes. How, you ask? Well, TheWB now has the first 10 episodes of Fringe season 1 available to watch for free! Personally, I think this is great, as the first half of the season has been difficult to get hold of online. This is a good, legal, way to do it.

If you’re looking for episodes 11-20, you can still catch most of them on the FOX video site or Hulu (expires midnight). So you can do a bit of mix-and-matching to get up to speed before the season 2 premiere.

Elsewhere, we have a few other Fringe-related bits and pieces below the jump – including various Fringe videos, “Science of Fringe” article and some William Bell spoilers.
