Here are some season 2 filming photos from the set of Fringe in Vancouver. Apparently the shots were taken last week. They feature Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and Lance Reddick.

Comic Con. The time of year when grown men and women dress up in rubber costumes as their favourite super heroes. Whilst it’s not exactly my thing, there’s nothing wrong with getting your freak-on – let the people have their fun, I say. But there’s a more important element appearing at the annual convention, and it goes by the name of the Fringe Panel.
After a successful first season on the air, and with fans still buzzing over what is to come next, this is the first real opportunity the people behind the magic have to let us know where the show is heading in the new season.
With that in mind, FB have 5 “Burning Questions” that we’d like to ask..
(warning: one spoilery topic mentioned below)

In this video from Hello! Canada, Fringe star Joshua Jackson talks about the move from New York to his home city of Vancouver, he also gives props to JJ. Abrams and Bad Robot.
You can read the Hello! Canada article on Joshua Jackson’s ‘homecoming’ here.
Thanks to the excellent Sophie for finding this!

Season 2 Fringe Filming Date
According to Production Weekly’s Twitter, Season 2 of Fringe starts filming in Vancouver on June 24. That’s the date that has been speculated for some time on the forums, but it’s good to have (semi) official news on this.
We knew it was coming, but now it really does feel like it’s bye-bye NYC. I hope Vancouver is good to (and for) the show.
Thanks Sarah for the heads-up!

Still no official word on whether Fringe will be moving production to Canada if the show gets a second season, but TV Guide seem to think it’s still likely:
Is Fringe really moving its production from New York City to Canada? — Hap
MICKEY: Assuming that there will be a second season of Fringe (which I’m hearing we can assume), yes. Sadly, I’m hearing that my fair city has become a little less fair on the subject of tax breaks for television productions, which necessitated a move to Vancouver. The real question: Does Vancouver look more like Boston than New York City does? Eh.
