In today’s Fringe Links we listen to Lance Reddick as he looks back on season 2 of Fringe. We take a spoilery peek or two at the Fringe opener. We also find out why Peter buys into our theory that the universe just isn’t feeling Olivia and Peter as a couple. And more.
Needless to say, there are a couple of spoilers (including two new photos) below the jump, so run for the hills if you’re a spoiler-free hero. Or carefully navigate around them.

Entertainment Weekly‘s Michael Ausiello sat down with Anna Torv, John Noble and Joshua Jackson to talk about Fringe‘s ambitious plans for season 3, the pace of the Olivia and Peter romance and the complicated father-son relationship.
What is clear from Ausiello’s interview with the Fringe Three is that they are extremely passionate about their work on the show. They care about the characters, their motivations, backstories and forwardstories (yes, I made that up). What is particularly heartening is that they are aiming high – mediocrity is not an option.
Mild spoilers follow the jump.

Yes, real man-tears. In an interview with FOX Source, Joshua Jackson provides his own speculation as to how Peter will react, and what the consequences might be from finding out that he’s not from our side. The Lowatus returns – sooner than I had hoped, as Fringe goes on a two week break for Thanksgiving (returns Dec 3rd with episode 2.09). All these breaks can’t help the show, but I guess other Thursday productions are in the same position. We’ll just have to make the best of it with all that’s post-worthy from the world of Fringe (below the jump).
