So it’s not Fringe, but here at FB we like to see what our former Fringies are up to when not cracking pattern-cases or plugging dimensional holes. The video above features John Scott (Mark Valley), the former lover turned national traitor turned redeemed lover of Olivia Dunham. He has a new show coming out next year, it’s called “Human Target” and it will air January 2010. Just think, by then Fringe will be back. Yeah, September isn’t too long to wait, right? RIGHT?

The Hollywood Reporter has news of a new project for “Fringe’s” Mark Valley, who portrays John Scott.

Mark Valley has been tapped as the lead in Fox’s drama pilot “Human Target” for director Simon West, while Kathryn Hahn has been tapped to star in Fox’s comedy pilot “Absolutely Fabulous.”

“Target,” from WBTV, DC Comics and McG’s Wonderland, is based on the DC Comics title and centers on Christopher Chance (Valley), a mysterious security freelancer who assumes the identities of those in danger, becoming the “human target” for his clients.

Good luck to him, I think that he did a good job as John Scott. With the way things are in “Fringe”, who knows – maybe one day we’ll see John Scott again..in some capacity?
