Media Junkyard have released an interview with Joshua Jackson and John Noble from Comic-Con. In the video interview, the pair reflect on season 2 and look ahead to the third season. A couple of spoiler beans were spilled (depending on your tolerance), so resist the urge if you’re a spoiler-free hero.

There are three things I want to see from the Astrids this season:
1. More sparkly eyes. *sparkle sparkle sparkle*
2. More Outer Lab Activity.
3. Evidence of improved Walter-sitting skills. (GPS the man if you have to, Farnsworth!).
To be honest, our junior agent has come a long way since the days when she was the woman with the name everyone but Walter could remember.
Now, with the the season 2 finale giving us that fleeting, but sparkling, glimpse into the world of alternate Astrid, Jasika Nicole could find herself busy this season.

As the curtain slowly winds down on another Comic-Con voyage for the Battleship Fringe, the light at the end of the Lowatus grows a little bit brighter. And you know what they say about the light.
Now, whether Fringe conquered Comic-Con this year seems to be up for some debate (something I may or may not talk about at a later date) – but what the convention does represent is another stepping stone towards the third season.

Entertainment Weekly‘s Michael Ausiello sat down with Anna Torv, John Noble and Joshua Jackson to talk about Fringe‘s ambitious plans for season 3, the pace of the Olivia and Peter romance and the complicated father-son relationship.
What is clear from Ausiello’s interview with the Fringe Three is that they are extremely passionate about their work on the show. They care about the characters, their motivations, backstories and forwardstories (yes, I made that up). What is particularly heartening is that they are aiming high – mediocrity is not an option.

Olivia Dunham is so badass they had to create another universe just to accommodate her badassery. Some say it’s the years of FBI training. Others point to Cortexiphan. I say - maybe she’s born with it!
In Friday’s Women Who Kick-Ass Panel hosted by Entertainment Weekly, Anna Torv, along with other ladies with a penchant for playing butt-kicking characters – Elizabeth Mitchell (LOST, V), Jena Malone (Sucker Punch), Ellen Wong (Scott Pilgrim) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim) – took part in an hour long discussion about the new generation of female action heroes.
Head past the jump for coverage from the panel – but before we go any further, I feel the need to break it to you gently: Anna Torv didn’t wear that ‘kick-ass’ Dunhamnator cape we were hoping for.

Happy Comic-Con Friday, Fringies!
While you wait for the various Fringe-related panels, I thought you might be interested in a wee scavenger hunt being served up at the 3,000 square foot Warner Bros booth. Can you find all the iconic elements from their shows, in particular the hidden Fringe elements?
Don’t worry if you’re not at Comic-Con to actually identify the eastereggs, as Warner Bros have provided photos of the booth so that you can still join in. What are you waiting for agent? Dust off that magnifying glass, put on that detective hat (make sure it’s slanted to the side for extra cool) and head past the jump to get your hunt-on.

You know what the Dunhamnator needs? A cape. Yes, a cape. Preferably one that’s red and cool-looking – a bit like Red Mist’s. OK, so maybe “needs” is a strong word. I know that Olivia is great just as she is, but with Petah suddenly becoming so “important”, maybe we can even things up a bit.
Where am I going with this? Oh, there’s a (very) vague connection.
