FOX have released 4 official “sneak peek” photos for the April 1st episode of Fringe, titled “Peter”. Continue past the jump to view them all.

Ooh, it’s the coin! ..And lil’ Peter looks sick! Surely this cannot lead anywhere! Nope, nothing doing here. 
I presume we’ll get some more promotional material for this episode nearer to the air date.

in that first image looks like there’s a reflection of a person on the car. somebody in a black jacket standing in front of what looks like a “1″. our universe’s first peter perhaps
Young Peter’s “lucky” coin seems to be the reverse side of the “Walking Liberty” half dollar that was minted between 1916 and 1947. I’m assuming this is alter Peter so I would love to see what’s on the obverse side of the coin. After all, they did have a Nixon quarter. Maybe they’d have Joseph P Kennedy or Charles Lindbergh the “first man to fly solo across the Pacific”. If this is our Peter I suppose the mystery would be why this coin was so important to him. I can’t wait to find out.
Semi-on-topic theory as to why Nixon appears on the half dollar in the parallel universe: he won the 1961 election instead of JFK, and was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in 1963–this would explain both his appearance on a coin that features Kennedy in our universe, and the fact that JFK is still alive in the other universe, as shown in a newspaper article in episode 2:1. (Apologies if this should have gone in another thread–I just now thought of it.)

Interesting choice of photos. I wonder if the license plate numbers have any particular signifigance–and was anyone able to read the record label in the third image?
Liz — I’m so glad to know I wasn’t the only one who was desperately trying to read what the record said! I really wanted to figure out what the record was, but as hard as I tried, I couldn’t make out the words.
I believe it’s something like “Sounds for the (some word I couldn’t quite make out) Listener.”

Great site ! I just started watching this show and have watched from start until now in the past month.
I don’t know if I am stating the obvious here. I believe that the car is definitely an old hearse just judging by the bumper and high back. It looks like we can expect a Peter’s funeral flashback again. Maybe Walter comes clean to Olivia ?
Great call on the car. My husband had casually come up behind me while I was looking at the picture up close and said, “Who died?” He thinks that the first picture is of an old hearse as well.
I think the record says “Sounds for the Diserving Listener”
and the car plates may have to do with balance. because…
if you take both sides and change the letter to their corresponding number (i.e. a= 1 b =2 c =3….) then break up double digit numbers. ( i.e. 12 =1+2 13= 1+3..) then you get
7k3- 7+11+3= 7+1+1+3 = 12
FNJ- 6+14+10= 6+1+4+1+0= 12
May mean that that person died for the balance of universes, i do believe it was peters mom. you can see in the reflection that little peter is in a wheel chair possibly and walter is beside him.
Just my decoding of the hints. cant wait to see the episodes.
