As we wait for season 2 to start up on September 17, team Fringe are busy prepping the upcoming chapters. Director/Producer Jon Cassar has posted a couple of updates via twitter:
Aug 13th: “FRINGE #206 – Prep Day 2 – Location Scouting, and department head meetings all day.”
Aug 12th: “Here we go Fringe prep day 1. I’ve got a great script. Very exited to get going. Know crew from Dead Zone.”
To the left you can also see a photo of the script for episode 2.06.
Thanks to FringeWatch for the heads-up!

In this fantastic interview with Collider, Fringe exec producer Jeff Pinkner talks candidly about Fringe.
Among the topics discussed: – season 1 & 2, balancing mythology and stand-alone episodes, network relations/support, guest stars, Comic-Con/TCA, moving filming to Vancouver, and much more. In my opinion, this is one of the best “Fringe” interviews yet – a must for any fan of the show! Check out part 1 of the video interview below and part 2 after the jump:

At yesterday’s Television Critics Association, FOX gave journos a closer look at what Fringe‘s alternate reality has in store for would-be travellers, in the form of a newspaper – The New York News (similar to the New York Post version seen in the season 1 finale). Sci Fi Wire have been kind enough to provide a clearer picture of the newspaper, which we’ve edited for side-by-side comparison above.
As you can see, the front page provides a provocative idea of the subtle and vast differences between Over Here and Over There.
Below the jump Exec. Producer, Roberto Orci, offers more insight into where the show will go from here (spoiler alert):

The Fringe TCA panel took place a couple of hours ago – we’ll use this post to update you with any articles, quotes, pictures and tidbits that we come across.
Please bear in mind that this coverage will contain some mild spoilers (although thankfully the producers respect their art and don’t give everything away!). If you don’t mind mild season 2 pointers, you know what to do..the jump awaits..
