Happy Thanksgiving to our American Fringies! Thanksgiving – a time to be thankful. I’m thankful for Fringe, but I’m not so fond of the Lowatus, which is still with us – breathing down our necks like an elf on Santa’s sleigh, minus the presents.
In today’s interview-centric Fringe round-up we have thoughts from Jasika Nicole, John Noble and Anna Torv. Check them out below the jump.
AOLTV grab a few minutes with Jasika Nicole on Astrid’s increased involvement, the parallel universe and more. (spoilers).
Meanwhile, John Noble talks about the ‘bar-lifting’ second season, “wounded-bird” Olivia and his favorite prop from the show (I bet you can’t guess what that is):

PopEater have a two-part interview with Anna Torv, where, among other things, she talks about Olivia’s relationship with Walter:
On the character Walter experimenting on Olivia:”I don’t think she’s forgotten. And I think the audience sometimes forgets, of course, because Walter’s this lovable, funny, gorgeous man. But for Olivia, no, he experimented on her when she was four years old and he won’t tell her what he did, or why he did it. And I don’t think that’s a very pleasant relationship. I think that she’s got drawers and drawers of notes on these two, like sitting in her back office. And you don’t know anything about Olivia.”
I hope Olivia hasn’t forgotten! I certainly haven’t. I think the show would benefit from more indications of Olivia’s real feelings towards Walter. I don’t just want to see it once every 10 episodes, that’s just not realistic. Unfortunately the fabled ‘case of the week’ set-up doesn’t allow for the continuity I feel the show needs – which is a shame, as character motivations should, in my opinion, drive this show. There are so many interesting stories to be told, can we start telling them in the best way possible, please?
Anyway, you can check out the video interview with Torv here (part 1)and here (part 2).
