As much as I want to say September, Walter regaining his memories was the best part of this episode and has been a major issue of mine about the show. The best relationship is between Walter and Peter and now with it back, it finally has enough gravity for the ending to be as emotional as it can be.

While I chose September for his prominence and brilliance in the episode, I fully agree with you, Ian. And John Noble did a fantastic yet subtle job of letting some of our blueverse Walter through the cracks of the amberversion we’ve gotten used to.

I think I finally get Windmark and like the character a lot more. He was brilliant in this episode! but alas I havent chosen yet, Walter or September…. both brilliant.

I don’t know if you watched the preview videos or not (so I will try to be spoiler free) but they expand on the Michael vs Windmark interrogation scene that is shown briefly in the preview (that’s not a spoiler, everyone knows it is coming) and Windmark IS AWESOME (the acting performance)!!!!
He does so much without changing his facial expression I am floored! It’s spectacular. I have so much more respect for the character now. Good casting this season, I can tell you that much.

I know it’s cheating but I had to vote for Walter because he was brilliant and even though I always praise Cerveris and think he should win FRINGIE of the week he will win anyway, so I can vote for Walter’s runner up performance and have my cake and eat it too. hooray.

in reply to scott, i didnt watch the preview or look at related to these last few episode, want a complete surprise but of course you are right when ya think about it it’s obvious that that’s coming, i just didnt think about it lol. thank you for the spoiler related thoughtfulness though. us spoiler free folk appreciate it.
anyway, spoiler related banter aside,
you are 1000% right about everything you said about Windmark. as of last week much respect. looking forward to more in the remaining future.
