I’ll second that opinion.

Walter. The layers that John Noble gives to the character are mind-boggling.

It would be nice to give the kid a nod, but it’s got to be Walter. Just the scene with Broyles was enough.

The Kid got my vote, great acting well done on his part! He deserves it this week!

I considered voting for Gus, because a lonely semi-sentient fungus is kind of awesome; and I almost voted for Lincoln because of how well he handled being attacked by the semi-sentient fungus (not to mention going with it when Walter named the thing), but in the end, I had to vote for Walter, for the disturbing yet heartbreaking attempt at self-lobotomy.

3 episodes, nothing explained, no links, nothing new … seems we are just postponing things to create more episodes after all … disappointed.

that kid was a great actor
also, based on what we’re given to put together about Gus, I like Gus. he totally helped that kid out. it’s not like he had to feed or anything, he just kicked some a** for the kid, had his back, if you will (though we don’t have enough info really to speculate whether or not he may have had some uncouth plans for the future…)
You can really tell this was David’s 1st episode as a FRINGE writer. (thought I really liked it) it had a lot of loose ends in places FRINGE doesn’t usually have them, which kinda made it feel alien – for example, what the hell is Gus and why doesn’t anyone, especially Walter, care, never mind find him fascinating and want to try to communicate with this creature and, should they exist, its relatives? among other things. just small things that I don’t even necessarily want to explore further, but seemed oddly out of place to me)
all of which leads me to –> John Noble is the man!

John Noble is a master of emotional range and extraordinary acting. WALTER is the diamond-cherry on top of this amazing show.
