The possibility of losing an adult child is the most distressing thing a parent can go through. Even though Walter has his faults, his relationship with Peter is very special and rare, and the chapel scene did it for me.

Peter, to give him credit for the strong, quiet acceptance of possible death in order to save others. As “Peter” suggested, the boy is BRAVE. But man I wish I could have picked Walter as well, his struggle made a definite emotional impact.

For me, that’s how close it was. Yeah, that Chapel scene that John did was so good! This one left me with a few tears. How many of us have felt the same way in our lives? Really good, good scene.

I just had to go with Walter. This is where he FINALLY placed the fate of the entire universe over his son. In the final chapel scene where he’s praying to God, I totally thought he was going to say, “please save my son.” But instead he asked to save his universe. I about jumped up and cheered for him. MAJOR breakthrough for Walter.
