Does that mean Fringe has REALLY more than three cast members?
Never noticed….

I don’t get why John Noble is often labelled as “supporting” actor.
He is as much a lead as Torv and Jackson.

I think it’s just tradition: there is only one male lead and one female lead.

I dont get that though. Out of both Jackson and Noble, I think most people who would watch the show would assume that Noble was the male lead because he has always had more screentime than Jackson.

I guess it’s due to the credits. Jackson is the first male actor credited.

I’m just guessing here, but I would say that when John Noble was hired for the Pilot he was obviously listed as a supporting actor and that is what he was to the main characters. Little did anyone realize that he would turn out to be the “linchpin” of this whole show. I adore the rest of the actors, but without John Noble, it would be Fringe, but not this Fringe. And the chemistry between all the other actors and John Noble is amazing. Seriously, I cannot imagine any other person who could have done such a good job with this role, so in my opinion he should not be listed as a supporting actor. Although if you look at it from another perspective, without good solid support a structure would collapse . . . so, maybe that title is not so bad after all.

Didn’t John Noble once won an award for most outstanding supporting performer, or something like this?
I think Walter should definetly be listed as a main performer, especially in season 1 he was the heart of the show. Back then, Peter’s main priority was to baby sit him, and sometimes he felt like a supporting character. And Olivia, that was listed as the main, MAIN protagonist, sometimes kind of lacked the charisma Anna has given her today.
So let’s face it – we all started watching Fringe mostly because of Walter and his crazy ideas.

I’m so going to buy this when it hits the checkstands at the store! Granted if I have money in my pocket by then…

I’m gonna really miss this show when it’s finally gone this fall. My only reason for turning on the TV at all will have vanished (but that will save me money in the end since I’ll have no reason to continue my cable subscription).
Nice to hear Lance Reddick’s voice on the new Tron: Uprising animated series though.

Yes!
It’s its last year, so Fringe diserves it.
