Im not gunna let it effect my enjoyment of the episode or season for that matter, but honestly how “realistic” (in quotations cuz I do recognize this is FRINGE) is it that Walter saved something from every fringe event that ever happened?

Honestly, its not that hard to believe. They would need to keep something from every case for evidence and when they were done with it Walter could have taken it.

Evidence? When was the last time you saw a Fringe case go to trial? I think it speaks more to Walter’s obsessive behavior more-so that necessity of evidence. Also a bit of a convenient plot device for them to be able to have something they might need.

Thank God that Walter is a compulsive hoarder .

Well the last time I can actually think of there being evidence for a court trial was in the season 2 premiere, but there had to be others. None the less, Walter has always filed things so its not that far of a stretch.

I remember than at the begining of Neither Here Nor There, Olivia gave Altlivia files with reports about fringe cases.
I think that it makes total sense, that Walter stored things like that – just think back to Season 1, when he had a car filled with detailed reports about his experiments!
But I have to admit that the worm may be a bit too much

I thought Walter didn’t remember like half the cases from the original timeline.

It seems like all of these didn’t really have to do with things happening just in the original timeline (such as the parasite, alternate universe viewing device, and the head of the person from “Fractured”) so Walter would have them. Then again, it could be just a gift for us long time fans.

Thing is Walter and Olivia didn’t remember working on a number of cases even though Peter didn’t exactly have a huge hand in solving them. I think the Johari Window case was one of them. So I’m not really sure which cases they did solve in the alternate timeline.

Yeah that’s true there were a number of cases that didn’t happen, but at least some of them still had to.

Did you notice the necklace and the ring around the neck of Peter?

Yup. I saw that too. I noticed in the first episode of the season, during Etta and Olivia’s reunion, you can see Peter holding the end of the necklace (the ring) in his fist but you never see the ring. But I’ve suspected since that point that it would come back up and that it would be his wedding ring. A little sign that even though he wouldn’t go to New York with Olivia he never really let her go.

I had not noticed … This is a good reason to revisit the episode

Now I’m dying to know where Olivia’s ring is.
Anyone else surprised Peter would wear it outside his shirt? I figure its something he’d want to keep hidden from Olivia.

I was wondering that too!! Why does Peter wear his “proudly” as a necklace…but Olivia, where does she keep hers?? Did she lose it??

I’m sure she didn’t lose it. She must have it.
I’m sure it’ll be addressed eventually in an ep since the writers have made a point for us to notice Peter’s ring.

Yea I don’t think she lost it either. I’m sure she still has it, she just doesn’t wear it like Peter does. As for being surprised Peter was wearing it outside his shirt, I agree. I wouldn’t say he wears his “proudly” while Olivia’s has yet to be seen, I think Peter has actually kept his relatively hidden since this is the first we’re seeing of it and I’m going to assume Olivia probably had no idea he’s been wearing it. I can’t see it all the sudden being visible in this episode and it not being addressed by the two of them, I’m sure we’ll get some insight into it.

Wow! The Fringe crew going into Walter’s WayBack (or Call Back) Machine. Window into the other universe? Check. Snakehead? Check. Other assorted goodies that we will be able to zoom-in on? Probably.
Tomorrow’s eppy is gonna be FAN-FREAKIN’-TASTIC! Looking forward to some off-the-charts goodness!!!

ehhhI thought they needed access to Bells cryogenic sealed assets with his hand. Maybe that will come up later But I do hope bell is some way or form resolved in the last season.

Didn’t they pull him and Simon out of the amber? I’m hoping we get to see him once more too, and not in a Simonesque situation either.

I’m sure Bell will return properly (intact).
He is too unresolved.
Hope he gets a robotic hand too.

Yes James, robotic hand, just like Nina’s. Lol !

Oh I didn’t think of that. It doesn’t make sens that they would pull Simon out and leave Bell there so I guess he’s got to be around somewhere.

So THAT is where the porcupine people (and other weird creatures from Bell’s ark) ended!

No just the cases Walter worked on in the lab. The ones from the ship were cryongenically sealed. I believe now that will come up later in a later EP

Yeah, but the worms from Snakehead were on Bell’s ark, and they are also here.

The fourth episode in a season (The Arrival, Momentum Deferred, Do Shapeshifters Dream Of Electric Sheep, Subject 9) always had a symbolical meaning. It’s not like the 19th episode, of course, but it’s still something special. So I have hight hopes for 5.04!
