YOUR WELCOME!

I love the FRINGE cast. Always have and always will. I appreciate thieir talent, dedication and hard work. And as much as they say they couldn’t have done it without us, the truth is that we couldn’t have done it without them.

So a big THANK YOU! goes out to this cast for making us care so much in the first place.

ps. For anyone that was questioning how Anna felt about the show, I think this video clears that right up.

pss. I enjoyed the entire clip, but I though Blair Brown had the most unique take on the goings on over the last 5 years.

Blair got me reaching for the tissues. These people have been so gracious and thankful to the fans, it’s amazing.

Someone mentioned in the last scene of the finale, one of the envelopes in Peters hands says “Thank You For Your Support”, I checked, it does. Again a message of thanks to us the fans. So I say thank you to everyone involved with Fringe for giving us this great show.

Not sure what I am going to do at 9:00 p.m. tonight. :-(

Agreed. There is so much joyful promotion on Science Channel for Fringe. They love it like we love it. Having world reknowned physicist Michio Kaku and other scientists come on during commercial breaks to explain aspects of science in each episode is beyond cool. Good home for it, without a doubt.

Nati, Sorry I can’t help you, I wish I could give you more answers. I’m sure there must be other ways to see Fringe in reruns. I have Directv, they offer the Science Channel if that helps.

Well what can I say that hasn’t been said already.
What has amazed me about the cast of Fringe (apart from their acting ability) over the last 5 and a half years, is how quick they are to show their appreciation of us the fans for what they say we have done, well that may be so, but it is only amazing performances and story lines that brings fans back year after year.
And the fact that Fringe has lasted (against all odds I might add) those 5 and a half years on such a small but very loyal fan base says as much about those performances from the actors and story lines as it does about the fan base.
To the Actors and Show Runners it is my sincerest hope that whatever work you find after Fringe, you are just as successful in that endeavour as you were in Fringe.
In my opinion each of your contribution in the show will not be forgotten and will forever be etched in my memory as contributing to one of the best sci fie shows in my generation.
Yes Josh, I have loved the Journey, the end was totally satisfying and while Fringe the show might have ended, I hope Fringe the Fanbase will live on.
To me THE CAST – CREW – FANS = FRINGE FOREVER
GOD BLESS YOU ALL – DAVID ANDREW HOLLEY – AUSTRALIA – FRINGE FAN

This was wonderful!

All their messages was sincered, Blair was touching and Jasika got me on my heels.
In 2011 I went to Comic Con and was truly an emotional rollercoaster ride. It was my first time in EUA, first time in Comic Con (obviously) and a had a chance to see all of them really close, but I coudn’t. I went to the panel, it was huge line, but I got there, I little bit far, but I was there and I saw the whole thing (even the video with observers cast) I was thrilled.

If you were at Cominc Con once, you know that are at last 3 chances to see the actors. 1- panel (wich I did), 2 – signs (which I didn’t) 3-around the hotels.
At the Warner booth, happend the Fringe signatures from the cast. You can either get to line and try your lucky to get a sign, or be there by the booth and see them really close. When I get to the line to get a chance to go to the sings line, I would have to wait for 2 hours for the sortition to start. I wasn’t alone, but my sister was not in a mood to wait for 2 hours for MAYBE to get an autograph.

So I gave up after 20 minutes on hold. I can’t remember if the panel was happening a little bit after I gave up that line, but I tried to get a ticket to the WB booth a little later, by the time I got really close to the end, the tickets were done. So what I did? I went to the volunteers desk (yes, I was there as a volunteer) and got my task for the day, wich last for 2 or 3 hours at the volunteers desk computer. When I was there, running some credentials in the computer I realised that at that same time the Fringe cast were given autographs at WB booth. I was in panic but coun’d react. I though about go to the restroom and then escape to the booth, but it was a little bit far, and the restroom was really close. And I was afraid to not fulfil my duty and not to be able to go back to the next day.

At the end of my assignment I went running like crazy to the WB booth, but It was too late. And didn’t know by then that that was my last and only chance to see the Fringe cast for less than 6 feet distance. But at list, I was there, at the panel, and I did as much as noise and cheering as possible.

Sorry for the big text guys, I never told this story before to anyone else, cause only Fringe fans would understand, and I don’t know many of them.

If you stretched this out and added some other stuff this could be a movie. Thanks for sharing that story, it sounds like you had fun anyway. And you have work ethic to stay at that volunteer job like you did. :-)

Thanks SissySiri!

There are more details in this story, but it’s hard for me to write so much in english, I’m not used to do this. And I like to write, I write a lot in portuguese, but it’s not the same to write in a language that you are not so much familiar.

To tell you the truth, here, at Fringe Bloggers, it’s the first time that I actually write more than a sentence. That’s another good thing about Fringe, it inspire me to learning more. Every time I write something like this, I need to open the Google translator to check my spelling in 30% of the words I wrote down, it’s a lot of working, and I still make some mistakes in the process, but it’s getting better.

Você faz um melhor emprego do que posso alguma vez! I hope that says you are doing a better job than I could ever do!

What you are doing is really something, I don’t know if I would be so determined. :-)

Thanks again, SissySiri!

For a better translation about what you wrote:
Você faz um trabalho melhor do que eu jamais poderia fazer!

Sometimes I feel like I’m writing like a google translator, it’s easy to take sentences in english to portuguese, but a lot more difficult the other way around.

I remember now a scene in Fringe where Walter was talking about something in various languages, and Astrid mentioned that he spoke in portuguese and some other language before, but we never see that, unfortunately.

Portuguese also appeared on Lost, when we see Penny’s boat, but those guys were not a portuguese speakers at all.

Like lost stef, I had put off watching this video, knowing that this would be the last one and not quite sure I was ready to accept that. Well, I finally watched it, and I have to say, I had not expected such direct and intense sincerity from the cast. I had thought it would be a quick “thanks for your support over the years” type of thing, with everyone happy and teasing and excited like they usually are. This was very different. I had not expected the way they directed their comments specifically to the fans or how personal and emotional their remarks would be. Blair Brown almost made me cry, as did Lance Reddick. I have always loved how the cast of Fringe seems to be as devoted to Fringe as the fans. It always felt like it was more than just a job for them, but they were as much fans of the show at the same time as being part of the show. I think that’s rare to find, and it’s one of the things that sets Fringe apart from other shows. It makes me feel proud to have been a Fringe fan. As a satisfied and devoted fan of the show, I want to add my thanks to that which others have already expressed.

So thank you, to the cast and crew who gave so much commitment and effort into each and every episode of Fringe, for it would not have been the same show otherwise. I feel they truly gave their heart and soul into the show and that really set the show apart from all other shows. Thank you for contributing to what is most certainly an unforgettable show.

Thank you to FOX for recognizing the potential Fringe had and allowing it to reach that potential. Thank you for acknowledging the devotion of the fans and allowing proper closure to such a beloved show.

Thank you to the entertainment critics who supported the show. Thank you for giving credit to the show for all of its achievements and brilliant moves over the years. It may not have ever received the recognition it deserved by awards and ratings, but the positive support and reviews from critics were always a delight to read, and such focus and support helped the show continue on as long as it did.

And finally, thank you to the fans, particularly those here at FringeBloggers. I’ve been here pretty much since the beginning and it has been a huge part of my Fringe experience. I love being able to know what others think about each episode, to share in the excitement over the upcoming possibilities, to discuss the positive and negative aspects of a recent development, and to debate theories and observations and see things from a different perspective. There have been ups and downs at this site and in the comments, but in the end, I have enjoyed being able to “interact” with others who love the show as much as I do.
