Seth Gabel has reflected on Lincoln Lee’s interaction with Olivia in the penultimate episode.

via TV Line:

I liked the brief indication that he felt some remorse, or guilt, that he’d been Over There the whole time that our side was getting run roughshod by the Observers.
Yeah, there was a little bit of doubt – “Did I make the right choice? ” — because Lincoln sees that Olivia is suffering. He wonders, “Was I meant to stay in my own universe? Is it wrong that I’m over here enjoying myself and having a family when I could have been over there helping her and Peter? Maybe if I was over there, their child wouldn’t have died?” So there is a level of guilt. But at the end of the day, she gives him her blessing, saying that things seem like they’re supposed to be the way they are.

I’ll be watching Arrow.

I am very happy with the way Fringe ended. It was wonderful that the powers that be gave us closure on the Altliv and our Lincoln story.

Writers, directors and so on have always been grateful to the fans, and they were able to give us some answers regarding the other Universe knowing that we wanted something. It was thoughtful and respectful to the fans, I appreciate that since I love this show and invested a lot of time in the entire Fringe journey.

Well, I’m glad he didn’t say Lincoln could have stayed in his own universe and maybe had a chance with Olivia ;)

Yeah, barring a piano falling on Peter or something. Even then, he’d probably come back. :)

I watched Seth on Arrow. He hammed his way thru the role. It was silly but the show is silly so…

Yes, I agree, but he did say in the interview that the director and writers told him to act like the Joker. So in that case I think he did a good job.
