A sackful of first look BTS photos from the Fringe series finale have arrived, as the final knockings in the Fringe saga get the pictorial treatment.
Says Wyman on filming one of the final scenes between the Bishop Boys:
“Yesterday, we had an emotional day in the lab with a scene involving Walter and Peter. As they were performing it, you could hear a pin drop. After it was over, there was applause because it was so incredible, and sitting with John Noble after it was over, it all sort of hit me. I had been so busy, I never took time to realize, Wow, it’s over. We both took a moment and sat there in silence. It was very heavy. Lots of strange emotions.”
And of the finale itself:
”The finale answers a lot of questions and recontextualizes the series in a great way. You’ll understand how the characters emotionally get to where they land, and where they’ll be after it’s all over.”

Nice to see our heroes will make all sorts of gruesome attacks on the Observers in the finale. I hope the chair is coming back because they plan on using it to torture Windmark
Oh and isn’t that Department of Defense pic like really spoilery? :s

Not to be a total dork, but why is it spoilery? I feel like I am missing something. I like to think that these pictures are important scenes, all of them. But, I have come to learn on shows with RABID fans (like us!) they sometimes fool you on purpose with promos and pictures.
I think the real spoiler above is the fact that everyone says there will be some deaths in the finale (Jasika Nicole said it a couple of times, as did Blair Brown) AND there is a “final scene” with the “Bishop Boys” according to Wyman. I kind of thought that Walter wasn’t going to make it.
Also…the bit about “recontextualize”. That scares me a bit, but also leads me to believe that there is a HUGE twist of epic Sci-Fi proportions coming in the last 15 minutes ever
of Fringe. Time travelling back to Etta’s childhood? Season 4 & 5 a dream? Olivia in the tank? I have prayed (and I don’t pray often, especially about something that isn’t family related) that this show ends in an astonishing way. Very good stories have a profound effect on my life sometimes and I hope that this 5 year, 100 hour story ends with me smiling/crying/and screaming “Oh….My….God!”.

Yeah, but in 4.01, the Fringe Team exchanged files with the alt-verse Fringe Division.

Yeah, well that and the tweet by that one guy have now made it a spoiler. Of course, a happy one for me. It makes me more excited for the finale, which is probably a good thing (the level of excitement). I can always watch this show, but for only 2 more Fridays after today I will be excited to see what is GOING to happen.

* Good shot of Walter and Peter.
* Is Olive getting ready to amber the joint with Peter?
* Who is the Observer? Is he the one who ordered the invasion? Is Windmark merely an enforcer for a far more egregious villain?

The. End.

That chair on 12 reminds me on those chairs from Jacksonville.

It’s the same chair from 5.01 that Windmark tortured Walter in.
