FRINGE Season 5 Production Shuts Down For 2 Weeks While John Noble Gets Treatment

Fringe 3.11 Reciprocity

More news on the situation we told you about yesterday with production on the final season of Fringe taking a temporary break while John Noble and Blair Brown recover from illness.

That break is now thought to have extended to two weeks (from the initially reported few days). Deadline understands that Noble has a sleep disorder that was made worse by his recent intense schedule, which saw him flying from his homeland of Australia to Comic-Con and then diving straight into production on Season 5.

Production is now expected to resume August 7. The delay will not affect the Sept. 28 Season 5 premiere.

We’ll of course keep you updated should we hear any further developments.

I hope they get well soon.
So John Noble has a sleep disorder, but what’s wrong with Blair Brown?

I wondered where Blair was since she was missing from the Com-Con events. Someone replied and stated that she had a cold. It could have developed into pneumonia, I certainly hope not. If that information about a cold was even true.

Fans don’t have a need to know, actors should be allowed some privacy, I wish her a full recovery and hope she will be back to work on Fringe very soon. You too John, get well!

Get well soon, but take the time you need.
We fans understand the hectic life you all lead, so take rest, listen to your body and recharge the battery fully, before start working again.
We can wait!!

Aww, hope they get well soon (:
Its good that they are giving them a break- i know when i don’t sleep good (or not at all) for a while, it makes me feel absolutely crap.
Although I am a little confused, surely every scene doesnt have walter or nina in so couldn’t they shoot the ones without them until they get better??? (:

Maybe they have to go out of the studio and film in real scene. The crew doesn’t want to waste money to get to the same place twice.
