The back cover art and description for Fringe: The Complete Fourth Season on DVD and Blu-ray has hit the web. Check it out below.

The product hits streets from September 4. Here’s the description followed by the back cover art below:

“Who are you? After sacrificing himself to save both worlds, Peter mysteriously returns to ours. But he has been forgotten — by Olivia, by Walter, by everyone. It’s as if he never existed. At the same time, shapeshifters controlled by an unknown master begin an onslaught of destruction, and now the two former enemy universes must cooperate to identify a common foe. Fringe’s thrilling 22 episode fourth season continues the inspired series’ synthesis of astounding phenomena, baffling secrets and dramatic character-driven stories. And in this season, events may prove that the most powerful force in our universe — or theirs — is not a doomsday device, not a paranormal force, but human love.”

Nice to see they spoil 4.19 by showing Nina with grey hair.

Do find it telling that they didn’t use Lincoln Lee in sny of the art? It just, to me, how insignificant his character was to the story. The red Lincoln was enough. I would have much more enjoyed seeing him. Waste of time. I love you Seth. The writers didn’t really give him anything to work with–potentional love interst for Olivia just didn’t cut it. Just sayin.

Disappointed again by the lack of deleted scenes. They are so keeping those for the boxset.

I’m hoping for extended episodes when the boxset comes out.

guess I’m going to have to go broke and buy the complete box set when it comes out, actually might have to buy two, one that stays wrapped and one to watch over and over :) not that I already own two sets of each season so far. Oh Fringe! ;)
