Season 2 Fringe Filming Date
According to Production Weekly’s Twitter, Season 2 of Fringe starts filming in Vancouver on June 24. That’s the date that has been speculated for some time on the forums, but it’s good to have (semi) official news on this.
We knew it was coming, but now it really does feel like it’s bye-bye NYC. I hope Vancouver is good to (and for) the show.

I can think of two immediate benefits to filming in Vancouver in the summertime.
1) they can leave these clothes at home:

If you’re curious, Fringe was shooting scenes from their season 2 premiere.
Some locations they’ll be using early on: Vancouver Art Gallery, Government building in New Westminster, Riverview Mental Hospital, local Chinatown, and New Westminster by the river docks…
they are filming today – as we speak on granville/pender (downtown vancouver) right across from holt renfrew near the SFU university, i just passed there, saw ‘fring film crew’ talked to one of the guys too asking if i could get through lol
