I can’t believe the final day is here. I got alot of different feelings going on. I will so miss this show and these characters.

THANK YOU for giving us Fringe.
Fandom can only grow in the future.

You know, I can’t remember the last time I pinned the hopes on a show’s future fandom SOOOOO much on the last episode(s). Seriously, Wyman has an opportunity to really end the program on an outstanding note. From what everyone from John Noble and J.J. Abrams have said about the finale, we could be in for a real treat. Of course, I have NEVER been very happy with a monster finale before. Maybe I am a lost cause. Maybe there has just never been a great ending. But, I hope beyond ALL hope that Fringe (which I think I can safely say is my #1 all-time television program, at least in how invested I have become in everything from the characters to the mythology) is THE ONE FINALE that I am just blown away from. I hope the muscles in my mouth hurt tommorrow, like a bride after her wedding day, from smiling so damn much. That doesn’t even mean there has to be a happy ending, because this show doesn’t really have to be happy for me to enjoy it, it just has to be what Fringe HAS BEEN in the past. The Season Finales of Season 1, 2, and 3 were some of the best finales I have ever seen. Season 2 being my personal favorite and I am sure I am not the only one. Something on par with those finales will allow Fringe to grow from “cult hit” to all-time Sci-Fi classic.

It is truly nice…especially on a cancel-happy network like FOX…for a show to be allowed a chance to end itself. Tonight will be bitter sweet but I’m glad we got to see an ending instead of a cliffhanger going nowhere like so many other shows.
Now the only question remaining will be how satisfying the ending shall be…will fandom send Wyman into hiding like what is rumored to have happened to McGoohan after “The Prisoner” ended? Will we hear a tired Journey song cut off into darkness? Will Starbuck vanish for no reason at all? Or will it all be a tank dream taking us back to the beginning? No matter how it ends, folks…just be grateful that they got to tell the story to the end.
