Fringe Pilot Being Tweaked

Fringe I’ve had a lot of emails this past week asking whether the Fringe pilot that was leaked about a month ago is going to be changed in any way before it’s September 9 premiere. Well according to USA Today, the Fringe pilot episode is indeed being “tweaked”, so expect some, if not major, changes from the version that was leaked on the Internet and the final cut that you watch in a couple months time.

It won’t be all that different. Get real. It’s been shot already. They may change up the editing a bit and put back in some of the footage they took out but it will be pretty much what I saw lastnight. I didn’t have much hope for this show but after seeing the first episode I am a fan. This show is a mix between X-Files and a British show called 11th Hour. It’s a great action packed show well worth watching.

Hi Norman, Yeah i’d pretty much agree with that. It wont be drastically different, but there will be some tweaks and adjustments here and there. Apperently some of the ‘placeholder’ music will be replaced with Michael Giacchino’s excellent compositions and things like that. Basically, it will be a more polished version.

Personally I haven’t seen 11th Hour, but I’ve read some good things about it. The X-Files comparisons are obvious, although I think that Fringe will end up with a more believable premise, dealing with “Fringe-science” as opposed to “pseudo-science”.

We can’t wait either, this show could be a new obsession!
