John Noble shares his thoughts on the final Fringe Comic-Con panel in a new snippet from TV Guide.
Noble said of the bittersweet event:
“Comic-Con has been so good to us over the years. Going back this time, [there] will really be a sense of celebration because I’m fairly sure the main reason we’re there for a fifth season is because of fan support. And so we’ll be down there in the heartland of the people who were really noisy and said we want the show to have another season to finish up the story.”

I love how Roco 9 times out of 10 always picks a picture to suit the nature of the article.
I always found it amusing for the Ratings articles how the characters usually had faces of despair.

I definitely want Fringe to return, but if i´m brutally honest, i don´t really mind the wait. Actually, i wouldn´t mind at all if the final season were broadcast early next year: that way, i would grow fonder (even more so!) for the show and the characters, get hungrier for the story, while at the same time preparing emotionally and psychologically for the inevitable goodbye when the series ends. I´m sure some people feel the same way.
I know it´s gonna be hard for me to say goodbye to this show. It was hard for me with Lost (it´s still difficult to remember watching The End, tears in my eyes), and with Fringe i´ve developed a very peculiar bond. Even though i didn´t really watch from the start, not regularly at least, seasons two, three and four have had an indelible mark on my imagination. And it´s always refreshing to see Walter and Peter and Olivia, interacting, growing and changing as characters; and you can tell, from the performances and the interviews, that the cast genuinely enjoy working with each other. That chemistry is hard to keep on a television show.
So, bottomline: Fringe, return, but take you time!
[and yes i know there´s already a premiere announced, but bear with me! xD]
