J.H. Wyman has expressed his desire to bring the story of Fringe to a “beautiful” conclusion.
Speaking tio Digital Spy at Comic-Con, Wyman reflected on the story that “has taken four years to unfold.” While he refused to completely rule out continuation in the shape of a movie or “Astrid spin-off”, Wyman said that he’s focused on bringing this particular saga “to a beautiful ending.”
Meanwhile, John Noble who is currently receiving treatment for a “sleep disorder” said he was “nervous” about the final 13 episodes:
“I’m actually quite nervous about it, because there’s no room to make mistakes, we have to be conscious of — everything we do has to be directed to that final conclusion.”
He continued:
“So I suspect it will be extremely hard work, very long hours, [but] if it comes out as I want it to it will be such a triumph, such a joy.”

Why do I have a feeling Whyman’s idea of a “beautiful conclusion” is an episode where they activate that device, whipe out the observers, than we get a group hug and some friendly words, a swee P/O kiss and a nice sentence that sounds kind of wise.
