I just want a clear answer and not more questions…..
i need it to be resolved because I’m not sure my mind can take the million questions that will be rushing through my head if it doesn’t.

I agree. no more unanswered questions.

I feel like Fringe has pretty much answered the questions I have had over the course of the series, mystery-wise that is. So I just want a thought provoking, emotionally fulfilling, characteristically truthful, and surprising ending.
This is the first time in a long time I am almost completely un-spoiled for a Fringe episode, and I just want to be surprised in a good way.

Same here pretty much. And they left enough open that you could really expand with the mythos already present (2167 has so many possibilities right now, and who is doing what up there).
I can really only think of one story arc that they didn’t deal with directly in total explanation, which I would have liked to have seen more of: Moseley and the Rogue Observer idea. Exactly where he came from, his origin, who he worked for, what his end goal was, yada yada. I would have liked more clarity on that with less left up to the imagination. I didn’t expect them to tackle that in the final two episodes, but still. At some point in the 5th season they could have fit it in to a 20 minute slot I would think.

Well there was a dude who looked like Mosley during a sequence near the end.
Ill take it he might of been a future Resistance fighter pre Observers or something to that effect from the previous timeline.
He appeared to look like a pre observer with limited capacities with the exception of the tech he connected to Peter and the retired military guy.
I loved the Finally but it felt rushed. I think they could of spanned the last 3 a little better because there was some slow moments in season 5 like 5.03. Just IMO Long Live Fringe.

Is this OJ? Sorry if I am wrong, but your prose is close to OJ’s.

Nah just Fringe -Forum pals but his writing skills are exemplary. I don’t devise into writing forum Fan Fics or theoretical explanations as he does. I am a tad to lazy to type that much
BTW thanks for the complement because I do appreciate his devotion to the Fringe story arch.
There are some exceptional writers in these Blogs as well and, I Njoi reading your comments with many others. They are very detailed, well written observations.

I also see the similarities. Interesting. I don’t think OJ hangs around here much, though. Then again, stranger things have happened.

Well Well OJ has the ability to run multiple timelines. Very cool!

I know it’s not OJ, because his retort to my post would have been epistle size in length, and some-where I’d end up mentioning “meta fate”

In the words of a weary posthuman entity resigned to the fate of the primitive hominid species he has grown fond of, “I never thought I would see you again.”
A question for you, Tricked. Are the presences of the White Tulip and the Farewell Tape – both products of The Plan – in this reset timeline despite there being no Observers (and thus no Plan) examples of Meta-Fate at work? O.O
Also, for old time’s sake, I think it’s safe to say Walter ended up creating Hy-Brasil after all.

“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in !” — (December’s thoughts if he were biologically reversed)
First off … OJ I really enjoyed our convos
Thank you for them … I mean that
And yes, imo … the white tulip, tapes (both products of the plan) are products of the meta-fate concept: universes and timelines trying to balance themselves out of the paradoxes that exist within them, of which those paradoxes are built upon themselves by being strategically placed/allowed to exist by the master string pullers at the end of the road deciding what “fate” is allowed. Thus one paradox is built upon the other, strung together across timelines and universes balancing themselves out, until the end of the road where the freedom from all of that is achieved. The end of that road, whose people are deciding “fate” of the previous roads before them (by allowing them to exist so that they, themselves can exist) … are those “omega point” peeps: arguably they exist as the result of what Walter and Michael did in 2167 (I agree it’s HyBrasil, i.e. thanks to “The Bishop”), hopefully Michael/Walter/Peter/tulip/etc being the last of the meta-fate paradox foundations.
OJ …. thanks dude
It’s been real

An Omega Point as the solution to the finale paradox? I guess the White Tulip truly was a sign from God.

I feel the same.
For me it will be a little more late to see the final, since I’m far away from US and Canada, so probably I’ll watch the end tomorrow, or late tonight cause I want to see in the best imagem ever, and that will take more time to happend, if you know what I mean.
This is the end, finally, the end.

I am completely satisfied by the ending. Completely.
And thank you, Roco, for the years you’ve put into this. I always came back to read your take on things, and to help clarify issues or understand themes. You were a constant source of insight.

What he said. It is because of FRINGEBLOGGERS that I found your site seriable.com. I got so much more out of FRINGE because of you, am watching old shows like LOST on G4, and new shows I might not have given a chance because I was a bit disappointed with the cancellations and majority of procedural and reality TV.
You renewed my faith in TV with your observations of FRINGE.
Thank you, Roco!

My hope is that the last episodes give me that sense of excitement and hope-for-what-can-be with this show that it has so often delivered to me/us over these years.
It should turn the final tumbler in the emotional and narrative lock that has been the phenomenon of Fringe! That last click should both open and close the door…

Thanks Roco, for keeping me grounded and keeping it real.

I am outraged at fox for ending this series this is just one of many shows that viewers are sucked in to watching and then is canceled this is the last time I will ever watch fox!!!!!!!!!

I feel for you being angry that it is over, but just so you know, it wasn’t canceled. FOX should be thanked immensely for allowing the show to end on its own terms. Those are two very different things. Just because a show ends, doesn;t mean it was cancelled.

Very satisfied with the ending! Though some of the suggestions like an army of cortexiphan kids going to redverse did sound cool too lol. Since I saw all the photos for the piolit episode i expected this ending. Still it was great

Exactly, I loved the ending. It closed the door, but it also opened it for fan fiction and stuff like that. I cried during the final minutes. It was so heartbreaking to watch Walter sacrifice himself for the ones he loved most in the world. Best ending ever put to a TV show:)
