The preliminary ratings are in for “Anomaly XB-6783746” — but how do the numbers stack up?
Fringe 5.10 was down a tenth of a ratings point to a 1.0 adults 18-49, attracting 3 million observers.

Very happy with this.
With only three left I can see the ratings staying stable or even rising. People who stopped watching in earlier seasons may come back to see how it all ends.

But how can they even enjoy it? I would think they would be confused out of their minds! Of course, I put ZERO faith in Neilsen ratings. I personally know 5 people who are all watching the DVD seasons now to catch up in time for the finale. Or, they watch online (paid or not). If everyone who watches this show spreads the gospel like some of us, there should be quite a few “new viewers” for the finale.

I don’t know why any new viewers would tune in for the last 3 episodes of a show. I tell everyone to start watching from the beginning and to avoid spoilers and the new episodes like the plague (until they catch up).
I’d be shocked if there were suddenly a bunch of new viewers who decided to only start watching the last 3-4 episodes and be confused.
If this show ever makes it onto Netflix, I expect the fan-base to suddenly take a huge leap in numbers. I know plenty of people who would have caught up already if it had been on Netflix streaming.
In short, GET FRINGE ON NETFLIX.

It’s good to see 3 mil viewers.
Once again: let’s go out with a bang.

I think those are excellent numbers with all the “holiday” celebrations that are going on right now. I’m shocked and happy that the number is so high.
