I like the way JJ put it in the Extraordinary Arc interview. He has his wife and child and loses one. He chooses to keep the one who is still there (Olivia) instead of focusing on the one who is gone and losing them both.

That isn’t the only thing I noticed. I feel bad for the screen grab for Jasika Nicole on the above video. It looks like she has the Observer tech in her brain with a bloody right nostril and sunken eyes. They made Anna Torv look constipated in the 100 episode screen grab.

Joshua says Peter’s arc is over. I guess that means Olivia’s arc is next. As well as Walter’s.
Not that that means Peter’s story is over but it means Olivia will finally do more this season

While i really think (and it’s logical) that Olivia will finally be more active in the last part of the season, i think that Josh was referring to the end of Peter’s storyarc as the observer, in fact he says “it’s KIND of the end of Peter’s story”. The point is the tech may have done something irreversible to him, since peter was in a really advanced state and on the verge of loosing completely the emotions, so you can’t come back to normal as nothing just by removing that tech. As josh’s said during the Fringe party, we will see the consequences of Peter’s actions throughout the end of the season.
Maybe something different and unexpected will happen to him in “Anomaly…” (ep. 5×10). I know most of you think it’s about Olivia because of what she said to the Oracle, but that would be too expected because we all know what she is capable of. The fact that she is so explicit about her past may be an indication that she will probably forced to use her abilities again in the end, but episode 10 will not be about her… not to mention that the title is very specific.
In my opinion is more logical to think that episode 10 will be the beginning of a new storyarc for Peter due to the effect of the tech in his brain, also because part of the press release says “actions have terryfing consequences” and you can’t help but think that maybe it has something to do with last peter’s actions!

I don’t doubt that this anomaly could/will be a consequence of Peter’s eeeh hem (cough cough) brilliant choices, but I don’t think it will happen to him or Olivia per se. So I stick with my illusion of having some Dunhamnator-Cortexiaction for that one. I also think that Peter will conveniently keep some of the “calculative” brain to be able to read Walter & September’s formulas.

Ohh!, it just occurred to me that the whole purpose of Obserpetah was so that he could read the observer child or viceversa right?. Maybe now that Peter’s brain had the tech, he kept some knowledge of the origin of the observers but he needs the child observer to read it…well, it could happen that way.

Hi guys, I have a question about Peter and Nina. Did she allready ask him for the favor he promised her back in S01E05? I don’t recall that happening. If it hasn’t happened yet, she might ask him to sacrifice himself in order to safe Olive and the rest of humanity in one of the last episodes.

Think about Donald from August though – it makes sense. He was hired by the observers to correct their accidental interventions – including killing human beings. He would know more than most about who the observers are. Maybe when the observers invaded he decided to take up arms against.
