The preliminary ratings are in for “The Human Kind” — but how do the numbers stack up?

Sciance Channel, OBSERVE. 2,708,000 people that are willing to watch to the end.
New epesiodes might be a good investment. What other sho do you have with 2,708,000 viewers?

While the end has been filmed, the true beginning has not… I’m optimistic that somewhere down the line we may get a star-wars esque pre-quel to Fringe (made for TV movie maybe) where they cover the so called first people. I would love to watch the first timeline where September doesn’t interfere with Walternate’s cure. How did Peter from over there meet Olivia from over here in the first timeline? Obviously there was a reason why Walter and Bellie started up the cortexiphan trials in the original timeline. They meet, they have Ella… For some reason Peter develops this tech that makes him the first observer… For some reason the team manufactures the machine and sends it back in time with instructions for Peter and Olivia and the Sam Weis’s to discover. It would be fasinating to watch that story. There is so much more story you could tell that won’t be told by 5.13 – yeah, us Fringies are gready – but I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t explore the made for tv movie a few years down the road.

There are sveral unanswered questioned that will remain unanswered because we only have 5 seasons. The original idea I think was 6-7 seasons. I would have loved to see that.

Those are good, steady ratings, I’m so glad it is ending on the upside.

I’m a little disappointed in The Science Channel, and from what I have seen it appears they are cutting tiny bits out to make room for ads and/or promotions of other shows. New viewers of Fringe are going to miss important bits that make sense or help the story flow. I hope they will correct that problem.

Unfortunately Fringe cannot go on, the die is cast, and I am sure the actors and everyone involved in Fringe has other jobs lined up or they are looking. I do hope that in the near future they will have some sort of two-hour special or even a movie. That would be awesome, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Be careful what you wish for Observer 1.
Do you remember what happened to The X-Files spinoff called
The Lone Gunmen … it was cancelled after 12 episodes.

Just Google ‘Back to Frank Black’, visit the site, read the new published book and support Lance Henriksen and the others to get Frank Black to the big screen.
            It is happening.

Lance Hendriksen is 72 years old.
Don’t you think that if it does come back that the network/producers might want to re-cast a younger actor ?

The independent movie will be a crossover to a ‘next gen’ series: when the movie will be succesfull, new people will be casted. However, Franks daughter Jordan could be a possible continuation of the storyline.
Terry O’Quinn could be back as Peter Watts and the MillenniuM Group and Lance could be guest-starring as a vision in Jordan’s mind.

For all Fringies: try to watch the movie ‘Altered States’ which stars a very young Blair Brown, a tank and a lot of drugs. Maybe you can see a similair ending for Fringe.
