I think the press release said
“As the fight for the future intensifies, a member of the Fringe team orchestrates a Fringe event of his own.”
I’m guessing Peter, in NY, with the toxin that closes all body orifices.
Or something else entirely :p

Maybe he uses bio-terrorism like spreading the disease from “The Recordist” but that seems to be possible. Or they could go even further & open up another parallel universe?

Very interesting. So in the original timeline, we had DRJ orchestrating all of this stuff to open a hole to get to the other side to Bell. Then, in the rewritten timeline, we have DRJ and Bell working together to bring about the universes collapse. Perhaps we will have yet another timeline, where Peter, or someone else, goes back in time to cause some more Fringe events?
This is really interesting and could bring about a circular ending for our characters…

I think it’s quite obvious, that they won’t use the treebark disease from The Recordist. They don’t want to hurt the natives (or at least, they want to avoid as many native casualties as possible), and I don’t really think that this thing would hurt the Badservers, so it would be kind of pointless, or it could even make the situation worse. So I think they will use things like that anti-matter reactor in Letters Of Transit, maybe tiny black holes, or a toxin (virus, bacteria, radiation, fungi …), that is harmless to the natives, but lethal for Baldies. These event’s will probably be quite major (here we’re talking about things that raise more attention than say, a fungi or something).

In a promo, it showed them spraying something in the Observers faces, IMO it’s oxygen.
Remember the Observers are pumping carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, every continent has a machine. Our team has to destroy those machines, get medical oxygen supplies, and kill those creeps with pure oxygen up their noses.

I believe that this episode might have something to do with Over There (part 2). The reason I say this is because the title five twenty ten could mean May 20, 2010. That landed on a Thursday when fringe was on Thursdays before it Friday switch. I’m not saying thats a for sure thing that it has to do with that episode, but its the episode that played on that day. I know its a long shot, but I’ve watched fringe since The Pilot and have come to learn that fringe doesn’t throw random numbers. Maybe it will deal with someone of that episode or something. Food for thought.
