The early ratings are in for “An Origin Story” — but how do the numbers stack up?
“An Origin Story” was up a tenth in the adults 18-49 demo to 1.0 from last week’s 0.9, the episode was observed by 2,606,000 viewers.

This was one heck of an episode and it lived up to the promos. I think John Nobel must get an emmy. After this last episode I don’t think he can be ignored. He just shined in that episode!

less viewers than last week? “Fringe dropped a tenth to a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating, down to 2,638,000 active observers.” that doesn’t add, I think it has something to do with total viewers at the same time but still…it should be more than before

There were more viewers in the demographic group this week, thus the 1.0 rating, 1.0% of all the total viewers this week were between the ages of 18-49. Last week had more total viewers, but less (only 0.9% of all viewers were 18-49) in the demo group so a 0.9 rating.
