The early ratings are in for the Fringe season premiere — “Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11” — but how do the numbers stack up?

The Fringe return scored 1.1  in the 18-49 demo — up a tenth from last season’s finale — unifying million 3,176,000 viewers.

One day this show will be a cult hit, and there will be three million of us who will be total fringe hipsters.

Fringesters: Our look will consist of awesome overcoats, or charcoal suites with fedoras. We will be walking around with redvines hanging from our mouths like cigarettes.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I can’t wait for that day to come. I’m proud to be in the minority that has stuck with this stuck with this show the whole ride through and enjoyed every minute of it.

I am with you. Now that ratings don’t matter, I can really just sit back and enjoy the ride

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 9

I am a Chuck fan, so Ive been through this once before. It’s awsome to wake up the next day and not worry about the ratings. 5 seasons is a very respectable, and now I am just gunna sit back and enjoy the ride as I did with Chuck.

Honestly, when I was on the home page and I saw the ratings headline, my first thought was “who cares”, but then my curiousity got the best of me…lol

Oh my… This hurts! So happy we know this will be the last since the beginning, otherwise I’d be crying.

I imagine there are just as many like you who cannot, even though they want to, contribute ratings-wise. Putting the Fringester population up to a startling 6.3 mil. How bout those numbers!?

I have a feeling that there already are 6.3 million fringies worldwide, after all, America is not the only place where they have Fringe. Just look at this blog! Here you can find people of all nationalities not only americans, and even though we (sadly) don’t contribute to the ratings, we are still an important part of Fringe community.

Exactly! I’m British and I’ve watched every episode of Fringe since day 1 in 2008, I’ve also managed to introduce the show to about 10 of my friends and all of them love it too, it used to really annoy me that we couldn’t help contribute to the ratings. But of course now that makes no difference, and all Fringe fans worldwide can relax and enjoy the last season of this incredible piece of storytelling :D
