I saw this comment on another site: “After seeing these last two episodes I feel like an idiot for giving up on this show in the middle of the first season.” I really hope more people will come to this conclusion over the summer so we can hopefully get some more viewers as we go into Season 4.

To be honest: When I first saw the show I “liked” it. I thought, wow it’s a modern version of the X-files…. but I totally got addicted when watching the season 1 finale. And since then I’ve seen every episode at least twice!

I’m sure many people fell asleep long before the middle of S1, as repetitive and uninspiring as “Fringe” was as that time. Especially in light of Bad Robot’s great serialized shows like “Alias” and “Lost”, the FOTW procedural was disappointing with a capital D.
Fortunately, the wake-up call went out, the writers gave their heads a shake, and look where we are now.

The only thing I fear is dying before this show ends, I know its Ridiculous, but ever since episode one and boy, every episode gives me this blood rush through my body, even in some episodes, my hands start shaking (literally), I really hope it never ends, and trying as best to get everyone I know to watch it.

Are FOX planning to keep Fringe in the Friday night slot for Season 4, or is it
going to be moved?

It’s going to be in the same slot

Then the producers should probably make Season 4 the final season
then. Barring a miraculous surge in ratings, I can’t seriously see a fifth
season with these numbers.
And on a brigher note, it would be good to wrap up the show with a quality final season.

Is it me or the final ratings for 6:02am EST are worse than the prelim ones??? And yesterday’s ratings, not that good. Damn, I can’t understand how it’s possible not watching this show, above all with the crazy trailers they make!!! (desperate) :sigh:

UGH. Why do I bother looking? This is the ultimate dvr show, as the numbers demonstrate. But as a Fringe fan, I just can’t understand how people don’t watch it live AND record it at the same time, it’s so damn good. I wait all week to fringe out, there’s just nothing quite like it!

I’ve noticed you have two kinds of people here every week:
the ones who hate the ratings, and the ones who hate the show.
Being an Observer, let me introduce a third fanverse:
the ones who love the show and don’t care about ratings or haters.
“I’ve set everything in motion, it has begun”.
Don’t let this weekly post get you down or worried; just enjoy the show and leave this for what it is.

The only problem is, the way I understand it….when Fringe comes back in September, if the ratings get worse (drop below 1.3 and continue), it doesnt matter if Fox ordered 22 episodes. They can still cut it off at anytime…is this correct? Does anyone know?

I think over the summer we all have to really work hard and get as many people as possible hooked!! I

Never thought I’d say this, but maybe the show would benefit from simpler plots. Things are getting confusing, especially for casual viewers, imo.

and I say this: what is the point of a show like fringe? I think is precisely that; confused us, make us going insane and always always keeping us wanting for more……… so the casual viewers needs to become a regular viewers, al least I hope so

I have proof that Sam Weiss has been around for a really long time.
What do you think gang ? Such a striking resemblance, don’t you think.
