Imagine The Impossibilities: Fringe Sheep!

Fringe Sheep

The imaginetheimpossibilities.com site has been update with a sheep advertisement (“Case_0091:Evidence_0001″) with some other crazy conspiracy-esque goings on. Go to the site, click in the screen and you’ll be able to pause it.

This sheep ad was first reported by member saxon on Fringe-Forum.com, and now it seems that FOX are wanting us to REALLY pay attention to it. No doubt there are some ARG/viral/”pattern” clues in there somewhere.

What the??

If you notice anything do let us know.

UPDATE: We’ve watched the video a few more times since making this post, and it appears that the main deal is as follows: ‘satellite imagine picked up a rare formation of sheep on the Iowa border..the co-ordination and quantity of sheep creating the pattern leaves very little explanation..reports indicate 10 more sheep patterns were spotted throughout the area’. Bare in mind that this is CASE 91 - will we get to see all of them? The audio only seems to play properly if you click the screen at the right moment – we kinda got lucky.

Also, there’s another ‘case’ on the site – “case_0009 Evidence_0002 1200P 250708″, which contains a bunch of numbers. Image below:

Fringe Numbers

UPDATE 2: You can also watch the video (unscrambled) below – thanks to Tommy @ SerieFringe.com for the video!

Ok.. The most important details, I think, are the numbers in the case_0009 Evidence_0002 1200P 250708.

Each lines are coordinates. So,
(43.374491, -92.115121) is Cresco, Iowa.
(43.404375, -94.833592) is Estherville, Iowa.
(42.069544, -94.866361) is Carroll, Iowa.
(42.164144, -92.026077) is Vinton, Iowa.

Yeah, we think the co-ordinates and the sheep forming the ‘pattern’ are the most important aspects. I wonder why they chose to use Iowa for the co-ordinates?

Those numbers hook up pretty well to google maps.

I am not from the states – but the first set looks like somewhere in Rochester?

Hey Andrew,

Also, have a look at this thread on Fringe-Forum, they seem to think it’s in Hertfordshire.

Case_0091: Evidence 0003 is a formula. For a being the distance between what appears to be estherville to ciesco?? and b being the distance between estherville to carrotl. as for 0007 is old brail. if you look up brail patterns on wikipedia you can find out what it says.

putting in each of those places in Iowa doesn’t seem to create a pattern on the maps..hmmm..i wonder what symbolic meaning the sheep have and what breeds are there in Iowa??

Hi Fireninja, good work, also the Iowa locations help to form a golden spiral – check it out.

Not sure on the breed of sheep, but there has been some speculation over the Sheep DNA that was in one of the evidence files.

Regarding evidence 0005 they are dna lines. so obviously someone was testing the breeds of sheep within each of the locations. it appears that all the locations carry similar breeds of sheep.

if it is a message it would be highly likely for animals to of course display the message since animals seem to be more ‘in-tune?’ with nature.

Anyone else see that in the first video there are greek letters? i say them in the leafs in last nights show. greek letters can be key in this. the triangle is the most one they use but they also use the circle with the I in it. its interessting to me

@Fireninja, we pretty much agree. Someone has been testing or experimenting with these sheep, or perhaps their DNA mutation is an offshot of nature being tampered with. It’s certainly interesting to consider the message they are relaying, and whether it can somehow be interpreted by man. Perhaps the show will explore these other forms of communication and behaviourism?

@kateg, The circle with the ‘I’ on the frog is the Greek symbol “Phi”. The triangle shape on the leaf is believed to be “delta”. We agree, they are certainly important in terms of understanding the show on a deeper level, and where they’re going with it.

For the audio to play correctly on the sheep video you have to have your mouse in the triangle.

If you look at the video with the guy shredding the photo on the right of the screen as he walks in for the first time there is a symbol on a board, to me it looks to be a triangle with some other smaller symbols. Have no idea what it means but it could be something.

To control the videos on the website do this:

Keep the mouse still in the middle to let it play. When it gets to a point that it needs to buffer it will reset, moving the mouse left and right rewinds and fast-forwards the video respectively.

Also, I heard the thing on the board with the video of the man shredding the paper is the Fibonacci spiral, something to do with the Fibonacci sequence, mentioned in the show.

Anyone else notice that the second image is a sheep’s horn?

I think it’s a Ram’s horn, but semantics aside, let’s hope they do something like this for 2009!

Hey so i was taking a look at the picture of the “four cordinates” of the sheep Iowa case and i stumble upon some hidden words. I have a mac and if you go to your computers system preferences and go to universal access you can invert the colors on your screen to negative thus making the picture more clear. Inside the rectangle is another square in the bottom left hand corner and if you look closely you will be able to see the words “Recall all” and then it says some kind of equations after it. Some of the letters look just like lines but i think its just one of the optical illusions where you have to look at the screen flat to be able to read it.

In about the 2nd second of this gif file, a sentence appears in the middle for the flash of the part of a second, sadly i cannot read it.
by clicking the gif can be stopped.
if somebody can read it, gogo :D
