We’ve seen the evidence – the origins of Peter’s kidnapping, the motivation that propelled Walter into taking nearly-Peter from his Other World to raise him as his own. We’ve witnessed the heartache, Olivia’s involvement and Peter’s continued semi-aware ignorance. Even God has weighed in!
So as we head closer to the moment of truth – some 30 plus hours of Fringe in the making, there is one question that seems to matter more than any other right now – Should Peter forgive Walter?

It seems like a lifetime since we had our last Fringie of the Week poll, but like Walter scampering back from the Other Side, it’s back with scant regard for the fundamental constants of the universe!
Olivia routed her way to a glimmering 74% victory in the Jacksonville FOTW, but with the Dunhamnator back on the alcohol in “Peter” and the story focusing on the Bishops flashback, who will come out on top this time?

Welcome to the FB review of the Fringe season 2 episode 15 – “Peter“. In this review I present my honest opinions on both the good and bad aspects of the episode. I also take a look at the answers and unresolved mysteries, before sharing my thoughts on other aspects which may have been overlooked.
Note: As always, this review is written before reading any other thoughts on the episode, if I change my view on anything, I’ll post it in the comments. This particular review is quite long, you might need a beverage and a snack. Also, for the purposes of this review, where necessary I use the term “Peternate” to refer to the alternate universe Peter, and “Peter” to describe Walter’s original son.

Second Season Resumes with Eight All-New and Uninterrupted Episodes
Walter flashes back to 1985 while explaining Peter’s otherworldly origins to Olivia. Also, Peter’s mother (guest star Orla Brady) is introduced, and details of the neighboring world reaffirms that there is more than one of everything in the all-new “Peter” episode of FRINGE airing Thursday, April 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. You know an episode is near when you see the words “press release”. FOX network have released the press release for the April 1st episode of Fringe, rather affectionately titled, “Peter”. Aww! It’s pretty much the same as the description that was included in their official season 3 renewal announcement, but it also has the cast list and broadcast times, which I know some of you will be interested in.
