Episode 1.01 Pilot

Fringe Episode 1.01 Pilot

The premiere of FRINGE is finally here! Intriguing characters, an over-arching mythology and greater viewer accessibility has been promised, as we get set to demystify the blurred lines of Fringe Science.

Episode Description:

When a Flight 627 lands with all the passengers and crew dead, FBI Agent Olivia Dunham is called into investigate. A search for someone to help leads her to Dr. Walter Bishop, our generation’s Einstein. There’s only one catch: He’s been institutionalized for the last 20 years, and the only way to question him requires pulling his estranged son, Peter, into help. Under Agent Phillip Broyles, our trio will discover that what happened on that fatal flight is only a small piece of a larger, more shocking truth.

The episode will be 95 minutes long, with reduced commercials. In many ways it will be like a mini-movie, with high production values, a great score and a gripping premise. We’re very much looking forward to seeing our new heroes being tempted into a world that is commonly seen as improbable, unlikely and unbelieveable. We’re all ready to “Imagine The Impossibilities”, and buckle in for the ride!

  3. Walter is my new favourite character, hes just too funny. Cant wait until next Tuesday!

  4. this show was awful! the story was weak sauce and the guy who played the sarcastic agent was a total toolbag.

    just more contrived TV drivel.

  5. Are you talking about Peter Bishop? He’s not an agent, he’s the son of Walter. Personally I loved it, it wasn’t perfect, it had a lot going on and didn’t knit together as well as the LOST pilot, say. But pilot episodes are often a taste of what is to come, and now I can’t wait for the other episodes as they will give us a better feel for the direction of the show.
