I’m going to give it up for Carla. A person of faith and reason travelling through a cold and dispassionate world of science. Someone who has the courage of her convictions despite the maelstrom hysteria swirling about her. Carla is a sympathetic figure that seems fated to play the role of Cassandra. I feel her fate will be all the more tragic for it.
