I think Olivia deserves it hands down for her entrance. What a way to open the season and make your first appearance!

No, its Peter who deserves it. Olivia and walter were the favorites and Peter was left out in the dust. He DESERVES more than those two overrated character OLIVIA AND WALTER!

I just thought I’d point out that last season, Peter wasn’t “left out in the dust” — he had 6 wins while Olivia and Walter each had 7 wins. I hadn’t yet discovered Fringe last season so I wasn’t participating in those weekly polls, but from what I’ve seen of it, it looks like it was a very close race. And that makes sense to me — Olivia, Peter, and Walter are the main characters and they each contribute to the show in different ways. Personally, I like each of them for different reasons, and if you took away any of them, the show would not be the same. I don’t think it’s necessary to say that one character is more overrated than the others.

I don’t think jkyarr was saying anything against Peter or anyone else — merely stating that the way Olivia came back from the other reality was pretty stunning and spectacular. It certainly was one of the most memorable moments of the show to me, and I think that’s the type of thing that stands out to people when they choose who to vote for each week.

Peter’s acting may have held the somewhat rocky continuity of the episode together since he was the only “good guy / mobile agent” running from here to there to make the plot happen, but Anna Torv dove through glass head first to produce what I’d argue was one of the most unforeseen and spectacular moments in the series. Admittedly I dont know if she did the stunt or a stunt double did, but either way so what. “Vote for Pete cuz he’s the underdog” doesn’t stand as an arguement at all. And Olivia is sexier. So there. Neener neener :-P :-D

Any time a Fringie loses his life in the line of duty, I gotta give that dude the nod for FOTW. It’s not like we can give him the ‘silent clock’ a la “24″, so FOTW will have to suffice as a token of appreciation for his years of public service.
