Fox Thursday Fringe Bones

Looking for a little fun? Well, FOX believe that their Bones and Fringe combo could be the thing to tickle your fancy. Good thinking FOX, promote both shows as a package and hopefully boost ratings.

There aren’t any new Fringe clips in the promo (aside from a new group pose, above, which would look pretty sweet on a poster), but like I said the other day – with only a couples weeks until the show returns, I’m happy to wait for new content! But tease me if you must. :) Head past the jump to watch the “FOX Thursday” Bones/Fringe Promo.

The Secrets of Fringe: Perception

by Roco on March 6, 2010 · 11 comments

One of my favorite mythology elements of Fringe has to be perception and the idea that our reality is shaped by the way in which we see the world. Almost every episode of Fringe touches on perception in some shape or form, and going forward I think it will remain one of the most important themes of the show.

In the latest Secrets of Fringe installment, executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman offer insights into the role that perception will play in relation to our heroes and their journey of discovery. Head past the jump to watch the video.

(Spoiler): The new promo for the April 1st episode of Fringe, 2.15 “Peter” is doing the rounds. If the title wasn’t enough of a hint, the promo makes it clear where and when this episode is going, and I must say, it does a nice job at whetting the appetite.

If you want to remain totally spoiler-free (and why wouldn’t you), I would recommend not clicking the blue “click to continue” link below, as the promo does tread that line of giving too much away *shakes fist*. Otherwise, grab your goggles and your best running shoes and head past the jump. I’ll explain why later.

The Secrets of Fringe: The Other Side

The Secrets of Fringe - The Other Side

In this edition of Secrets of Fringe, executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman talk about: The Other Side, Off Market Tech, The Universes of Fringe, and why consequences are more important than answers (preach it!). I also weigh in with some of my own thoughts after the video, which you can find below this thing us bloggers call the jump:

The Secrets of Fringe: The Observers

by Roco on February 20, 2010 · 15 comments

As a fan of mythology, some of the most appealing aspects of Fringe are those that offer context and depth to the world of the show – such as the Observers and the green and red color pattern. In their latest “Secrets of Fringe” offering, executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman provide hints on the overarching elements they plan to explore over the next few seasons.

Video: John Noble talks Season 2

by Roco on February 17, 2010 · 3 comments

FOX Source have released a short interview with John Noble. He talks about his experience working on this season’s episodes and the developing dynamics between the characters. The interview is at least a few weeks old (presumably held back for the Lowatus), so some of the context is lost, but it’s still worth a look. Continue past the jump to watch the video.

I have a feeling that when Peter finds out that he’s from the alternate universe – and that his ‘family’ have been keeping this a secret from him, he’s gonna flip his lid, and we might even see some tears. Yes, real man-tears. In an interview with FOX Source, Joshua Jackson provides his own speculation as to how Peter will react, and what the consequences might be from finding out that he’s not from our side. Continue below the break to watch the embedded video.

FOX have released a Valentine’s Day promo under the slogan “behind every strong man is an even stronger woman”. The promo features familiar faces from various FOX shows, including our very own Fringies, Olivia and Peter. It’s times like this that I wonder what could have been had Olivia not seen him glimmer. Anyway, continue past the break to watch the video.

Last week Fringe went out with a bang as universes collided, revelations unfolded and a drinks date was dramatically canceled. (well, it was, wasn’t it?). The mythology-heavy, character driven “Jacksonville” is definitely one of our highlights of the season so far, making the 2 month Lowatus even harder.

After the jump, Fringe executive producers and writers, Jeff Pinkner and J.H Wyman, offer their interpretation of the episode in the latest “Fringe Secrets” video. Plus, we have the ratings news and the Popular Mechanics view on the science of Jacksonville’s ‘mass for mass’ plot device.
