Much will depend on the third season’s alternate universe storyline and its ability to captivate and engage the Fringe audience. But how do the powers that be plan on telling that crucial story without neglecting the bread and butter of the main universe?

There are three things I want to see from the Astrids this season:
1. More sparkly eyes. *sparkle sparkle sparkle*
2. More Outer Lab Activity.
3. Evidence of improved Walter-sitting skills. (GPS the man if you have to, Farnsworth!).
To be honest, our junior agent has come a long way since the days when she was the woman with the name everyone but Walter could remember.
Now, with the the season 2 finale giving us that fleeting, but sparkling, glimpse into the world of alternate Astrid, Jasika Nicole could find herself busy this season.

The Fringe finale is just a few alterverse hours away but there’s still time to watch 3 sneaks peeks for tonight’s curtain closer. Last season’s Fringe finale was something of an iconic affair with the introduction of Leonard Nimoy as William Bell and Olivia’s arrival into the alternate universe. So how will the 2-part season 2 finale measure up? If the blockbusting trailer is anything to go by it’s sure to be an event not to be missed. In an interview with New York Post’s PopWrap, Jasika Nicole goes so far as to call it “shocking” and “freakin’ good”. She had me at ‘shocking’.

If Blair Brown‘s charm failed to convince you that the season 2 Fringe finale was gonna be MAXI-Huge, perhaps you’ll listen to Jasika Nicole? TV Addict spoke to JN, who teases the remaining episodes of the season, including the 2-part season climax. It really does seem as though the finale could be fairly massive.
