UPDATED with better quality video above.

Here’s the latest Fringe promotional video. It looks like the clips are from the next few episodes. The volume is kinda low, but you can hear it a lot better here.

Fringe returns Nov 5th (if no baseball ;) ).

It was a stand-alone “season 2 episode” they filmed towards the end of last season, to fill up some quota that FOX had. As you said, it never aired. Kirk Acevedo spoke a bit about it here:

I’ve been wondering what happened to that episode… From what I understand, they had originally filmed it to be part of Season 1, until some genius decided Glee had to premiere in the spring, which took away an episode of Fringe. I thought I’d heard somewhere that they had re-filmed a couple of scenes in order to make it fit with Season 2 and that it was going to be shown at some point this season. But if they were going to show it, I imagine it would be in the first few episodes of the season. But we’re already five episodes in and we still haven’t seen it. And the next three don’t sound like this one, either. It seems like it would be odd for them to show an episode that had been filmed last year almost halfway through the current season. In that case, are they just going to not show it at all? I’m very interested to find out what their plans are for the extra episode. If nothing else, they had better include it on the DVD.
