It’s all change in the Fringe writing room, but former co-producer/writer Brad Caleb Kane has already found his next gig. According to M&C, he’s going to be writing a movie based on the timeless kids classic View-Master toy. I have to say, this sounds like a great idea – if you owned one of these toys when you were a young’un you’ll know just how addictive and, um, educational they can be. Isn’t that so, kids?
What with all the inter-reality melding going on in Fringe, I do hold out some hope that we’ll see the View-Master incorporated into a story-line. I mean, a device that allows you to glimpse into other worlds? Yeah, that’s SO Fringe.

Actually, you are already dead on ….. in Safe, when Walter is going through the box of toys that belonged to “Peter”, there is an old, retro ViewMaster in there!
