We’ll do this again, shall we?
As was speculated and counter speculated, it looks like FOX made an “error” when releasing/describing the promotional photos for the second episode of the new season. Thankfully, they responded with all the swiftness of alternate universe Usain Bolt* to clear up the confusion, and have been drip-releasing promotional photos for what once again seems to be the premiere episode.

If you didn’t believe me when I said that the third season of Fringe will turn your world downside up, the official season 3 poster might just alter your mind.
As with most things Fringe, the official poster is riddled with clues and interesting little details. This season, Fringe stands on the brink of greatness. Don’t buy into the muted promotional campaign, the semi-serialized television hopeful is one of 2 or 3 shows that I believe has the potential to take the genre to new heights.
But as with any leap, there are also pitfalls. Dangers lurk around every creative corner and doubt can infect minds faster than a virus.
But where do you take a show that has already come so far using only half of its potential? Do you step on the gas and put your strongest foot forward, or do you take half measures and watch it all apple crumble before your eyes? The road not taken can be a bitter pill to swallow.
So as we step through the last sticky strands of Lowatus fever, I present my 10 Hopes for Fringe Season 3. If by the end of the season Fringe has realized these hopes, I think the genre will have a new hero, and we will have been there to experience it.

FOX has followed up the release of the official Fringe season 3 cast photos, with the release of the promo photos for the premiere episode. Head past the jump to view them all – and for the new title for the episode, which has seemingly changed.

Update: New 3.01 photos have been released which suggest that FOX made a ‘mistake’ in titling the earlier photos that are below the jump. Until we hear differently, consider this post to contain photos for episode 3.02.

The first sign that the Lowatus is drawing to a close are the promotional trailers. The second sign comes in the shape of the promotional photos.
FOX has today released the official promotional photos for the third season of Fringe.
The nine photos set the tone for the upcoming season and provide us with an intimate look at what themes, stories and turns may spring from our heroes (and villains) over the course of the season.

Welcome to our rewatch for Fringe episode 11 of season 1 – “Bound”. In this rewatch we break free from the shackles and gather up new perspectives, before sitting down for a nice cup of Samantha Loeb’s herbal tea. (It’d be a shame to waste it).
We’ve renamed this episode Loeb Tapped That.

The first promo for the new season of Fringe was very Olivia centric – so much so that our brave soldier was the only central character to appear with new footage. I quite liked the idea as it gave season 3 a nice intimate and eerie feel.
Another promo has aired which includes new footage of the some of the other main characters (and more Olivia). Whereas the first promo was more psychological in its approach, this latest one seems to be about choice.
