1.20 Fringe Season Finale Ratings

So the first season of Fringe has come to a close, but how did the finale perform in the ratings? As usual Fringe did well, pulling in 13.5 million viewers for the first half, 8.9 million for the second half and gaining around 10% on the demo from last week. [see above chart for full break down]

You can find the previous Fringe viewing figures here.

All in all a tremendous achievement – it’s credit to the show itself and the loyal fans who held strong during those looong hiatuses. Can we hold firm in the wake of another hiatus? Is the Observer bald?

How pathetic that Fringe lost 4 million of its audience in the last half hour (which actually had great WTF revelations and the killer ending) just to watch some stupid fat people lose weight, same old stars dancing and a tired crime show drama.

Yeah, but the 2nd half hour saw “Fringe” edge out “Dancing With The Stars” in an alter-reality, so it all balances out.
